How “Get to Sleep” can help Insomnia
Do you ever look at an animal sleeping and wish you could sleep so peacefully. The way our environment has evolved means that we no longer have basic needs like an animal, i.e. food to eat, a home to live in, sex to procreate. We now have the added everyday stresses of life which even though we take much of it in our stride, means our brain has a lot of activity and can find it hard to relax.
We each have our own unique perception of the world around us, and any problems we have are unique to us. We work within your view of the world to get the best results for you. Everybody already has the resources they need to live their life the way they want to, sometimes we just need a little guidance to be more aware of our own capabilities. Through our therapy we can help you sleep the way you would like to.
The therapy we offer includes Hypnotherapy, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Nutrition advice. We practice a brief therapy approach, many problems may be helped in as little as 2-4 sessions. Our therapists can also show you techniques you can do yourself between sessions and ongoing, to benefit your progress.
Each session will be different, as every person is different. Each session will generally last 1 – 1 ½ hours. Session 1 will begin with a history take, to really understand your issue. This will be followed by a combination of techniques tailored to your needs.
